Hi all, I'm Kevin McPoland, a photographer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. What began as a hobby during my freshman year of high school turned into a side gig by junior year, eventually leading me to pursue a degree in photography at the University of Michigan. After more than half a decade of creating, refining, and shaping my own visual language, I’ve developed a deep passion for crafting compositions and telling stories about people and their surroundings. My style has emerged through sheer repetitions and constantly hunting for new details, perspectives, and moments that can build a story.

Currently, I’m expanding my versatility within photography by investing my time in concert, sports, and portrait work. As I wrap up my BFA, I have been freelancing on the side of school leading me to various experiences that have allowed me to collaborate and document a wide range of clients, communities, and environments.

Developing a style that clients trust across various settings is something I’m truly proud of, and it motivates me to continue pushing myself and growing. I look forward to continuing to work with the people who trust my vision and creating images that help tell their stories creatively.
